Being intentional about accomplishing the mission of Jesus Christ, is of paramount importance! It can be tempting at times to just “go with the flow”, to “settle in” and to adopt a routine that falls into the “that’s the way we’ve always done it” category.

We believe that a church that is going to be reaching, teaching and sending people for Christ must be intentional about stepping outside the box of familiarity and into God’s ocean of opportunity. Intentionality keeps us watching for what God is doing, so we can join Him.

At SCC, we are seeking to be intentional in all of our ministries; from the babies, to the youth; from young families to seasoned saints. We believe that striving for excellence honors God and removes barriers that could impede the greatest message in the universe…the message of Jesus Christ’s life, death, resurrection and His promised return.
